My library fines are usually no more than $1 but I totally forgot to return a video hence the $7.50 fine. I could have mailed in a check but where’s the fun in that right? So tonight I spent a nice evening browsing and checking out some books.
You know what I was surprised to find on the new books shelf though? This book. I thought the publisher had pulled it off the shelves. I’m kind of curious why the library still carries it.
Anyway, I know I’m supposed to be reading the books for the From The Stacks Challenge but I’ve got time (so says the procrastinator in me). Besides I only checked out two books: The Ghost Orchid by Carol Goodman because I’ve enjoyed all of her books so far, and Wednesday’s Child by Peter Robinson because I want to see what happens in this 6th installment of the Inspector Banks series.
